COLOURED ANODISED COMPONENTS
As part of our ongoing programme to add some bling to your ride we have been working on some new colours to add to our range of component parts. These are still being developed and some colours may not be available so you MUST contact us before ordering.

CONNECTABLE STALLION JUNIORS
Developed for twins, these two Stallion Junior wheelchairs can be joined together and pushed by the carer as one. Inhouse testing showed they were easy to manoeuvre and steer. They are shown here connected together without their fitted seat backs.

NARROW CHAIR ATTACHMENT
No actually it's not another aisle chair, it is an assembly that can be fitted into existing anti-tip mounts on your Melrose Wheelchair to allow access through narrow doors/passages etc.

Changeable in seconds and breaks down to easily fit in hand luggage this attachment is ideal for overseas trips where you may have to squeeze through otherwise inaccessible places - like aircraft aisles. It comes with brakes on the rear wheels.

DISC BRAKES
Although we have been putting drum brakes on wheelchairs for some years now we haven't used many disc brakes.

Disc brakes provide superior stopping power and also give fingertip control to assistants. You can have individual brake lever control for assisting turning or a single brake lever for stability.

FOOTSTEER WHEELCHAIR
So you have movement on one side and you would like to steer your wheelchair using your foot - can Melrose do that ?

Of course we can! - we build wheelchairs to cater to your size, disability, and any other crazy or brilliant ideas you have to make your life easier or more exciting.
